Gold Coast wedding photographer

Getting married on the Gold Coast? Beach at one end, rainforest at the other, and a reception that might run a little late.

You want a Gold Coast wedding photographer who makes your photos look like that day, not a catalogue. That's me.

Why me

Before photography, I trained in the special forces. It taught me to read a room fast. These days I use it to spot your nan about to cry during the speeches.

I don't stage anything. No lining you up on the sand for twenty minutes while your drinks go warm. You get a few relaxed portraits, then you're straight back to your people.

On the day I'm one more friend in the room. Chatting with your mates. Dancing a bit, if you let me. Quietly getting the good stuff.

What's included for the Gold Coast

  • Full Day · from $5,500. Up to 12 hours, me plus a second shooter. Engagement session and social media content included. Travel anywhere in Queensland is included, so the Gold Coast is covered.
  • Premium · from $6,500. Two lead photographers, an engagement and portrait session, and priority gallery delivery. Travel included.
  • All the Formalities · from $4,200. 8–9 hours, getting ready through first dance, me plus an assistant. Its included travel covers Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast, so I'll quote Gold Coast travel separately.
  • Elopement · from $1,800. Up to 4.5 hours, ceremony and portraits, travel within 100 km.

A $500 booking fee secures your date and comes off the price. The balance is due 4 weeks before the wedding.

What I'm looking forward to

Honest answer: I haven't shot a Gold Coast wedding yet. That changes when I arrive in November 2026.

Bright beach light is a different beast from an English field. I can't wait to learn it.

The hinterland gets me most, though. Rainforest, valleys, a bit of morning mist. I love being outdoors, so I'll be up there exploring long before your day.

“He made the pressure of official photographs feel super relaxed and fun and talked to us like friends rather than a professional just doing his job.”

Gold Coast questions

Is travel to the Gold Coast included?

With Full Day and Premium, yes. Elopement covers 100 km. For All the Formalities, I'll quote the travel so you know the number upfront.

What if it rains on our beach ceremony?

Have a plan B and tell me what it is. I'll find the best light wherever you end up. After years of English weddings, a bit of rain doesn't worry me.

How far ahead should we book?

Whenever you're ready. Send me your date and I'll tell you within 24 hours if I'm free.

Do you shoot in the hinterland as well as on the beach?

Yes. From the sand right up into the hills.

Sound like your kind of photographer?

Tell me your date and where you're getting married. I'll let you know if I'm free.
